So it turns out Trevor and I were not the only ones with troubles last week.
Rob spent Tuesday night/Wednesday morning in the hospital. Apparently he was lying on the ground doubled over in pain at 3am and had to call 911 himself and the ambulance couldn't find him because they had moved him to at new building while he is waiting to be shipped off. They did an ultrasound (no baby!) and an x-ray but they think it was a kidney stone.
He flies out to CFB Gagetown (New Brunswick) tonight and arrives at midnight. Gagetown is about a 4 or 5 hours drive from Halifax.
Trevor is on Day 8 of Amoxycillan and I am on just a plain old regular Band-Aid for my finger. The nail is still there but the skin part is kind of there and not there so I have used a lot of Polysporin on it!
It is supposed to be -36 with the windchill tomorrow. The kids stayed inside all day today. Two days of indoor recess is enough to drive anyone mad.
March Break is coming up!
